The Stitch 'n Bead offers a charming collection of handcrafted gifts and home decor items in Louisburg, NC. Find unique purses, wallets, tote bags, bucket hats, aprons, gemstone bead jewelry, soy wax candles, handmade soap and spa items, etched glassware, original watercolor art, garden and home decor, metal art sculptures, and more, all designed and created with care. We also welcome custom orders and offer custom embroidery. Shipping is available on some items.Our hours vary seasonally. We are currently closed while we restock and refresh the boutique. We will reopen February 3rd and our spring hours will be Tuesday - Wednesday, 11 AM - 4 PM, Thursday 12 - 6 PM, Friday and Saturday 11 AM - 4 PM. Our social media sites will have posts for Saturdays we are open.To verify most current hours on a specific day, please refer to our Facebook page. Who We Are

In April of 2023, four creative Artisans came together and opened The Stitch 'n Bead. Two seamstresses and embroidery Artisans, Shari Hale and Pat McAdams, one gemstone bead jewelry Artisan, Cristina Salvatore, and Cindi McGee, a mixed-media Artisan offering etched glass, handmade soap and spa items, candles, and polymer clay designs. Diana Johnson's original art cards and decorative art are also now available in our boutique. Diana also offers custom pet portraits. Our Guest Artisan is being revised for 2026. Stay tuned for more information. You never know what you'll find here, as each week (and sometimes each day!) the variety of creative gifts and accessories changes!

2025 Handmade Holiday Trail Participating Artists

The 2025 Handmade Holiday Trail at the Lake Royale & The River subdivisions here in Louisburg, NC, was a tremendous success. Our sincere thanks to the 35 artists that shared their creativity with residents.If you would like to reach any of the artists that participated to discuss available items, reach out to us and will happy to help facilitate that. This slide show of ads for the event shows you a small glimpse at what some of them offered at the 2025 event. The Handmade Holiday Trail doesn't have to end because November 15th has passed, it can continue into the coming year and beyond!

Our Location

Our boutique is located at 100 Cheyenne Drive in Louisburg, in the building on the right, BEFORE you enter the gates to Lake Royale.
