Made with hands, heart, and harmony.
In April of 2023, four creative Artisans came together and opened The Stitch 'n Bead Handmade Gifts. Shari Hale, Cindi McGee, Pat McAdams and Cristina Salvatore offer a charming collection of handcrafted gifts and home decor items created in North Carolina. Find unique purses, wallets, tote bags, bucket hats, aprons, gemstone bead jewelry, soy wax candles, handmade soap and spa items, etched glassware, original art, garden and home decor, metal art sculptures, polymer clay jewelry, and more, all designed and created with care. We also welcome custom orders and offer custom embroidery. Shipping is available on some items. Our first physical location recently closed. As we navigate this season of change for us, we are looking at other opportunities where we possibly may be able to display our items, and are contemplating participating in some local events too! We will continue to offer our unique, handmade gifts through our website and Facebook page, so please feel free to reach out if you see something you'd like!

The Art of Making
Every piece begins with a creative vision, then choosing the perfect elements, then mastering techniques to achieve what we envision. No two pieces are ever identical. Each is unique in it's own way.

Every stitch begins with intention — choosing colors that speak to emotion and texture that invites touch.
Spa items and candles are crafted in small batches from natural ingredients, and scents that are cruelty free, vegan, phthalate and paraben free.
Home decor designs are artfully compiled with varied creative materials - you never know what you'll discover next.
Jewelry designs are created by embracing creative expression, combining gemstone bead elements, polymer clay, and more for unique, one of a kind pieces.

"This little hidden gem packs a lot of goodies in there! I’ve shopped there many times, and always see new stuff when I go in there. I’ve bought things from several different artists in there, and it’s always been quality things that held up. Grateful to have this little boutique so close."
— Erin Heller, Louisburg, NC

"Several talented local women got together to create a local store where they can sell their pretty products. I purchased several items from them, and when I needed a repair of 1 bag that I damaged on a vacation, she repaired it, no problem."
— Jacalyn Engler, Louisburg, NC

"I get excited at the thought of going shopping in their store. The ladies are so sweet and helpful with their products. No pushy sales staff! Just take your time and enjoy picking out a special homemade item."
